Adnexitis is the most common gynecological pathology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reasons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Inflammatory processes: acute and chronic endometritis (chlamydia infection, gonorrhea, tuberculosis, viral endometrial lesion);<\/li><li>Introduction of an intrauterine contraceptive (&#171;spiral&#187;);<\/li><li>Traumatic intrauterine interventions (abortions, curettage of the uterine cavity).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Symptoms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>pain in the lower abdomen or pelvic area of varying intensity, along with an increase in body temperature, is characteristic;<\/li><li>discharge from the genital tract with unusual color and an unpleasant odor;<\/li><li>deterioration of general well-being;<\/li><li>potential impact on fertility.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diagnostics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The diagnosis is established based on complaints and data from clinical and instrumental research. One of the most accessible and reliable diagnostic methods is ultrasound, which allows for a clear assessment of the shape, size, and structure of the ovaries, as well as their relationship with neighboring organs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treatment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The primary role in treatment is played by antibiotics, and in the presence of symptoms of intoxication, infusion-detoxification therapy is administered, along with the prescription of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This approach is indicated in the treatment of exacerbations of chronic adnexitis.
